Pets are not allowed in the Res Halls. Residents may have an Emotional Support Animal or a Service Animal.
Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a service animal is defined as any
dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an
individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual,
or other mental disability.
You must register with the Services for Students with Disabilities Office (SSD) if
special accommodations are needed when applying for housing. You are encouraged to
apply early and to notify the Housing and Residence Life Office of special needs when
the application for housing is made.
