Angel of the Winds Arena Policies

Hello, we are so excited to have you join us for your graduation at Angel Of The Winds Arena! Below are a few things to note to make your experience go as smooth as possible.

Bag Policy

Please limit your clear bags to no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” and small clutch bags to no larger
than 4.5" x 6.5". For further details, please see Bag Policy | Angel Of The Winds Arena.

Prohibited items

Please note that this is our general list. Additional items may be deemed harmful or prohibited by various event organizers.

  • Balloons, Confetti, Streamers, Balls, Laser Pens and Noise makers of any kind
  • Flower vases of any kind
  • Oversized Bags
  • Audio & Video Recording Equipment
  • Laptops and tablets
  • Cameras with removable lenses larger than 2”
  • Tripods, monopods, and selfie sticks
  • Outside Food or Beverages (empty water bottles are okay to bring in)
  • Glass Containers, Cans Coolers
  • Tents, Chairs, Umbrellas
  • Weapons of Any Kind, Fireworks
  • Animals (except certified service dogs)
  • Helmets
  • Inline Skates & Skateboards

Flowers/Leis/Bears

Flowers, leis, bears etc. will be available to purchase both outside and inside the arena at the following locations:

  • Suite 21, Section 101 – inside NW Doors
  • NW Doors - Outside
  • Suite Doors - Outside

Contactless Entry

Guests will be screened and/or physically searched for required entry.

Cashless Concessions

Purchases can be completed with debit or credit cards and now featuring mobile payment options such as Google Pay and Apple Pay. Cash will not be accepted.

Exit/Re-Entry

Attendees who exit the arena for any purpose, including smoking, will not be allowed to re-enter during the event. This policy is enforced to ensure the safety and security of all attendees and maintain event integrity.

Beginning this graduation season, all graduates will be required to exit the arena through the Edward D. Hansen Conference Center and meet their families outside the building.

Nonsmoking venue

Smoking, including the use of cigarettes, cigars, pipes, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes), and any other tobacco, marijuana or smoking-related products, is strictly prohibited within the premises of Angel Of The Winds Arena.

ADA/accessibility

Please visit the arena's accessibility website for more details. Unless your school has a designated ADA early entry, the most convenient line for ADA guests will be at our Suite Entry on the corner of Wall & Oakes.
