Climate Justice at Edmonds College
Edmonds’ Climate Justice work was initiated through Washington’s SBCTC Climate Solutions Program - “Central to the community college mission is the commitment to sustainability—building healthy and economically viable communities by equitably preparing students for lifelong learning opportunities and meaningful employment.”
What is Climate Justice?
Climate Justice acknowledges that climate change can have differing social, economic, public health, and other adverse impacts on underserved populations. While climate change is a global issue, not all climate impacts are distributed equally.
