Special Feature: Earth Month Programs
"This April, as we celebrate the Earth, let's reflect on our relationship with the land we care for. To do this, we must acknowledge the history of the land. A history which includes stewardship by Indigenous peoples since time immemorial, and the disruption of that care when this land was stolen and colonized. How can we learn from this history and the current struggles of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color to shift the way we engage with stewardship?
In honor of Earth Month, we have curated a list of pieces to read, watch, listen to, and experience. Join us, as we explore topics and first hand accounts of Indigenous and Intersectional Environmentalism all over the world."
Earth Month Learning and Exploration
"Every year on April 22nd, we celebrate Earth Day, a time for us to honor our land, its natural resources and systems, and the incredible plants, wildlife, and humans that live here. While we should be caring for our environment all throughout the year, Earth Day is a special day that allows us to recenter, and renew our passion, care, and determination to do good.
So whether you volunteer at an event, attend a webinar, or read a book, take time to give thanks and celebrate our Earth this month!"
