Customized Short-Term Programs

A Program to Meet Your Needs

Our fully customized short-term programs are designed for students who want to improve their English skills while experiencing American culture, classes, and activities. 

  • Program Size: 5-40 students
  • Program Length: 10 days to 1 quarter
  • Support Staff:
    • Experienced teachers and leaders who provide support throughout the program
    • Chaperones for students under 17 (all students must be 15 years of age or older by the start of the program)
    • Personalized planning coordinator

Our Short-Term Programs Include:

Welcome Orientation:  We welcome you to our college with an overview of your scheduled program along with a campus tour. Each student will receive an orientation packet with helpful information they can use while here in the U.S. They will also be introduced to their instructors and program support staff.

English Classes: Up to three hours of instruction per day from our friendly, experienced English instructors. Lesson plans include practical English conversation, grammar, and short assignments that can be put into practice right away during afternoon/weekend activities.

Activities and Excursions: We offer many different activities to make your program memorable. Our students have gone to the Space Needle, Boeing Museum of Flight, Mariners baseball games, scenic local mountains, beach barbeques, and outlets for discount shopping. In a custom program, you choose the activities that you would like and we provide you with a calendar of events that you can share with program participants.

Housing: We have our own housing department on campus to place your students in experienced homestay families. Students can experience living with an American family during their stay and learn more about life in the United States. Three meals a day are provided.

Graduation and Farewell Reception: Students will receive a certificate that after completing their short-term program. All staff, instructors, host family members, and friends are invited to attend the cap and gown reception. 

Airport Pickup/Drop off: We welcome you to Seattle by sending our staff to greet you at the airport. We shuttle you to our housing department on campus where homestay families will pick students up. After the completion of the program, we will provide group transportation back to the airport.
