Ph.D, Environmental Science
Tami Barry has been teaching at Edmonds College since 2014 where she teaches Introduction to Geography and Career & College Success.
She has a Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of North Texas and a B.A. from Pacific University.
She loves teaching geography, because geography is where it’s at! More seriously, she believes geography connects to everyone’s life, whether you plan to be an accountant, forester, software engineer, or just want to understand the world around you. The landscapes we grew up with, the ones we visit, and the one we call home, all shape us, our understanding of the world, and our place in it.
Her hobbies include knitting, bird watching, and playing guitar.
