Fall classes will be in-person, hybrid, or online. We’re looking forward to fall quarter and planning for more than half of our classes to be either in person or hybrid (a mix of in person and online). The remaining classes will be held online. Fall quarter begins on Sept. 20 and goes through Dec. 10. Check out the class schedule at edmonds.edu/schedule and register now!

You’ll register for your fall classes in ctcLink. Activate your ctcLink account now! Remember to take a screenshot or write down your ctcLink ID. If you forgot to do this, use the ctcLink ID lookup tool to find it. You’ll use your ctcLink ID to log into Canvas for fall classes. In ctcLink, make sure to verify your personal information and check that your preferred email is correct.

The Music Department provides students a wide range of opportunities to learn music and grow as a performer. Our instructors bring diverse skills and approaches to teaching.

Their shared teaching goals include:

  • Giving students a solid foundation all facets of music.
  • Providing a range of performance and creative opportunities.
  • Offering diverse music theory and digital music courses.
  • Creating a dynamic, rich learning environment for students to pursue their passion for music and performing.

Student ensembles at Edmonds College have numerous performance opportunities throughout the academic year.

Perform with:

Take survey courses such as Jazz History, MUSC& 107 or Music Appreciation, MUSC&105 online, when it is convenient, to deepen your relationship to music. Music education begins with listening.

Concert Band

The college has a Concert Band for woodwinds, brass, and percussionists. Participating in Concert Band fulfills the large ensemble requirement for the new Associate of Arts-Music Degree and is open to members of the community. Those who wish to register and play with this group of musicians contact Megan Vinther, director.

To join the band, email Megan Vinther. Band members will also register for Concert Band, MUSC 189 at the college.

Jazz and Salsa Band

Jazz and Salsa Band is a great opportunity learn or strengthen your jazz skills. If you'd like to talk to someone about Jazz and Salsa Band, please email John Sanders.

Music and Audio Production

Our Music and Audio Production Certificate Program provides the skills necessary to be a 21st century musician and sound engineer. Learn the techniques, software, hardware, aesthetics, and history of making music with the latest technology! If you would like more information, Nick Sibicky.
