Parks Maintenance Division Laborer

This position is open until filled and may be closed at any time following the first reviewof applications on Friday, March 18, 2022, at 4:30pm. There are five (5) temporary seasonal positions available:

• One (1) position working 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Sunday – Thursday
• One (1) position working 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Tuesday - Saturday
• Three (3) positions working 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday
• All positions are scheduled to work the months of April through August

This position primarily assists full time staff in the Parks Maintenance Program and reports to theParks Maintenance Manager. About the Positions The position working weekends is expected to empty trash cans, pick up litter and clean parkrestrooms. They may also assist with other parks maintenance duties as assigned. The weekday positions will be expected to empty trash cans, pick up litter, and clean restroomson Tuesdays and Wednesdays. This position will also be expected to mow and trim and cleanhard surfaces such as pathways and parking lots within the city-wide park system and assist withother various tasks and projects as assigned. All positions are suited for candidates who enjoy working outdoors, have a positive attitude andwillingness work hard and be part of the park maintenance team.
