Julie Povick- Program Director/Instructor
After working in healthcare for over 40 years, Julie has built an expansive network of all kinds of professionals. Her students describe her as "demonstrating boundless generosity with what she knows and who she knows." Whether you find yourself looking for mentors or volunteer opportunities, she has someone you have just got to talk to. Julie was on the University of Washington School of Medicine (UWSOM) admissions committee for seven years where she interviewed students in Seattle, Spokane, Wyoming and Idaho.
Glen Tamura, MD/PhD- Program Instructor
Dr Glen Tamura, MD/PhD graduated from Stanford and worked as a Hospitalist and Immunologist at Seattle Children's Hospital for 38 years. He was on the University of Washington School of Medicine (UWSOM) admissions committee for ten years where he interviewed students in Seattle, Spokane, Wyoming and Idaho. He is also a guest lecturer at UWSOM.
Lori Hays, PhD- Biology Faculty and Faculty Coordinator - Healthcare Transfer Center
Dr. Lori Hays, PhD graduated from UT Southwestern Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and has been a faculty member at Edmonds College since 2008 in the biology department. She is currently the faculty coordinator for the Heatlhcare Transfer Center at Edmonds College, working closely with the Postbacc program.
