How to Apply
Residence Hall and Homestay Application Process
- Step 1:
- Go to the Apply for Housing page and submit your application online.
- After you submit your application, the housing fees will be added to your CTCLink student account within 2–5 business days.
- Important: If you are an intern, returning student, or applying for family housing, please email us at housing@edmonds.edu instead of using the online form.

- Step 2:
- Check your email regularly. We will contact you if we are missing any documents or if the housing fee still needs to be paid.
- Step 3:
- Once you pay the housing fee, we will start placing students in rooms. This begins
1 to 2 months before the quarter starts.
- You will receive an email after placements are complete to let you know if you have a room or if you are on the waitlist.
- Homestay students: To guarantee your reservation, you must pay for the first 30 nights before we send your placement details.

- Step 4:
- If you receive a room placement, please confirm it and send us your arrival date, estimated arrival time, and flight information.
- If you are on the waitlist, let us know if you want to stay on the list in case a room becomes available.

- Step 5:
- Move in on your arrival day! We’ll be here to welcome you.

Before You Apply
You will need this information during the application process:
- Be aware of our policies
- Know your housing preferences.
- Learn more about Homestay.
- Explore detailed floor plans and discover more information about the Residence Halls.
- Triton Court or Rainier Place
- Room Type
- Lease length (*We recommend a 3- or 4-quarter lease for Residence Hall students, as it promotes a safer, more community-oriented environment.)
- After you submit your housing application, don't forget to
- Pay the Housing Application Fee. We will be able to begin working on your placement once we receive your payment. The placement email will be sent to you 1-2 months before the official move-in date.
- Upload/submit a copy of your photo ID (for every students)
- Submit Medical consent form (for students under the age of 18)
*Read more information for students under the age of 18. - Submit Background check form (only Domestic students)
Before You Arrive
You will need to provide us with your phone number and flight information at least
