How to Apply 

Residence Hall and Homestay Application Process

• Step 1:
  1. Go to the Apply for Housing page and submit your application online.
     1. After you submit your application, the housing fees will be added to your CTCLink student account within 2–5 business days.
     2. Important: If you are an intern, returning student, or applying for family housing, please email us at housing@edmonds.edu instead of using the online form.
• Step 2:
  1. Check your email regularly. We will contact you if we are missing any documents or if the housing fee still needs to be paid.
• Step 3:
  1. Once you pay the housing fee, we will start placing students in rooms. This begins 1 to 2 months before the quarter starts.
     1. You will receive an email after placements are complete to let you know if you have a room or if you are on the waitlist.
     2. Homestay students: To guarantee your reservation, you must pay for the first 30 nights before we send your placement details.
• Step 4:
  1. If you receive a room placement, please confirm it and send us your arrival date, estimated arrival time, and flight information.
     1. If you are on the waitlist, let us know if you want to stay on the list in case a room becomes available.
• Step 5:
  1. Move in on your arrival day! We’ll be here to welcome you.

Before You Apply

You will need this information during the application process:

• Be aware of our policies
  1. Residence Halls Handbook or Homestay Student Handbook
  2. Housing payment information
  3. Important dates
• Know your housing preferences.

  2. Explore detailed floor plans and discover more information about the Residence Halls.
     1. Triton Court or Rainier Place
     2. Room Type
     3. Lease length (*We recommend a 3- or 4-quarter lease for Residence Hall students, as it promotes a safer, more community-oriented environment.) 
• After you submit your housing application, don't forget to 
  • Pay the Housing Application Fee. We will be able to begin working on your placement once we receive your payment. The placement email will be sent to you 1-2 months before the official move-in date.
  • Upload/submit a copy of your photo ID (for every students) 
  • Submit Medical consent form (for students under the age of 18)

  • Submit Background check form (only Domestic students)
    
    

Before You Arrive
