Prior Learning Assessment
If you can demonstrate prior learning based on the knowledge and skills you have gained through work and training, you could be awarded college credit through our Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) program. Your knowledge must be current and correspond to courses taught at our college. Your level of competency must also compare to that of students in regular courses, including theoretical and practical knowledge of the subject.
PLA credit is determined through the Course Challenges and the Special Projects. Visit the Prior Learning team’s website for more details and their process.
