Erika Fiebig

Erika Fiebig is a Seattle native. She coaches the Bellevue Youth Symphony Premiere and Sinfonia cellos and local schools. Erika plays with Pacifica Chamber Orchestra and musicals and other concerts throughout the region. For the past nine years she studied with master teacher Rajan Krishnaswami and is an apprentice teacher, occasionally covering the studio. She trained at the Japan-Seattle Suzuki Institute for Books 1, 2, 3 and 6.

Erika began Suzuki cello lessons at 5, at 12 she began studying with renowned teacher Richard Aaron, currently faculty of Juilliard. With pre-professional training in high school, she went to Indiana University String Academy for three summers, and was in Seattle Youth and Junior Symphonies. After high school Erika took private lessons and chamber music at Oberlin Conservatory while attending the college. She currently gives regular solo recitals of the major cello repertoire.
